THERE HAVE BEEN more closures over the week-end but not all water related.
Foxton Flight
Foxton Flight (pictured) is closed due to a paddle failure, Keith Gudgin reports.
It is not told on which lock, only that locks 8 to lock 17—the flight—are closed. This is already due to close on the 29th should there not be any extensive rainfall.
Aire & Calder
The Aire & Calder Navigation is closed at Whitley Lock 12.
This is caused by the top gates at the lock being damaged, with the team on hand to repair.
Oxford
Low water levels are responsible for the closure of the pound between Slat Mill Lock 26 and Little Bourton Lock 27 on the Oxford Canal.
