THE city of canals—Birmingham—had more canals than first thought, with another unearthed.
The remains of a canal together with a mill have been been unearthed in the city's Centenary Square as the foundations for a new library are being excavated.
The old waterway was uncovered by archaeologists from Birmingham University, with a long length being found, which was obviously filled in.
