EARLY morning towpath walkers were shocked to discover a man hanging by his neck under a canal bridge over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Wigan.

I must complain about the statement by Mike Todd this morning that 100% occupancy of berths at marinas is unachievable, and that when a space becomes vacant there will always be a period of vacancy as the space is advertised, let and the new tenant takes it up.
