WEST MIDLAND POLICE are offering a £10,000 reward after a baby boy was found dead in the Wyrley & Essington Canal.

This was four years ago when the police and paramedics were sent to the scene and discovered the days old baby was tragically declared dead.

Being treated as murder, extensive investigations of the case remains open. The police however have been unable to trace the mother.
Now, a fresh appeal by Crimestoppers has seen a £10,000 reward offered to anyone with information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
West Midlands Police urged anyone with information to 'speak up, no matter how small the detail, as they were determined to find answers.
