AFTER FIVE WEEKS the Loco Lift Bridge on the Huddersfield Broad Canal is repaired.
But the navigation is closed so it cannot be used, Keith Gudgin reports.
We are told that the Loco Bridge has had some repairs carried out. After inspection it has been decided it is safe to use, but cannot be as the navigation itself is closed though lack of water.
Further repairs
In addition there are still further repairs to be undertaken by the contractors.
But it is not told when these will be carried out. So the bridge is fixed, but not fixed, as Keith relates!
