STILL ANOTHER Customer Service Facility has been closed.
This time it is the one on the Chesterfield Canal by Forest Middle Top Lock, Keith Gudgin reports.
It is the shower at these services that is out of order and the facility will remain closed subject to review in accordance with the Customer Services Facilities Policy, we are told.
Third time
This is the third time such a facility has been closed with the phrase Customer Services Facilities Policy being used.
It is thought by some continuous cruiser licence holders that this is a way of getting them off the waterways and into marinas to save wear and tear on the system.
For it is of course continuous cruisers that mostly use such services, and many have been closed as reported in these columns.
