In August, narrowboatworld supporters can win a silver membership worth £245 or a maintenance course place (worth £300).
What you get
The breakdown assistance and recovery package includes: seven call-outs in a year, recovery to your nearest marina or safe mooring, home start cover at your home marina, crew relay (transport of you and your crew to home marina or location of your choice) and replacement parts.
The two-day maintenance course covers how to maintain diesel engines and the systems within a narrowboat, such as propulsion, cooling, engine servicing and fault finding, and you’ll receive a certificate and a Narrowboat Engine Maintenance and Repair book.
