THERE IS LITTLE DOUBT that the article by the National Bargees Travellers Association has raised some replies.

For together with the one from John Coxon and another now from Roger Baker, Ray Smith raises a point:

It seems to me that the boater mentioned in this article who has shared access to his daughter, needs a permanent mooring with the appropriate licence to enable him to do the school run.

A continuous cruising licence being totally unsuitable in such circumstances.
