Macclesfield Canal
There has been a successful repair to the damaged cill together with the balance beam at Lock 12 on the Macclesfield Canal.
This means the Bosley Flight on the canal is now reopened.
Calder & Hebble Navigation
Network Rail have informed the trust that a boat will attend on Wednesday 17th June to attempt to remove the stone from the bridge parapet that is in the river. This fell from Cooper Bridge Viaduct.
It is closed the navigation.
Rochdale Canal
A team have attended and have identified a fault with the tail paddle of Lock 7.
It will be back on site today, Wednesday, to carry out repairs.
Severn
Engineers have attended and have identified the paddle fault on Belvere Lock 7 on the river.
As this is below water a diver will be required. With the lock remaining closed.
Grand Union Canal
The stoppage notice of Braunston Lock 2 was given in error.
The Lock remains open to narrowboats, as the towpath gate can still be used.
However, wide beam boats are unable to pass through the lock, with the flight closed to them.
