ADVANCE TICKETS FOR CRICK BOAT SHOW are now available.
These offer visitors a 10% saving on gate prices for the UK’s biggest inland waterways event at Crick Marina on the Grand Union Canal.
Late May Bank Holiday
As usual the show takes place over the Late May Bank Holiday weekend, the 23rd to 25th May 2026, with an exclusive Trade & Preview Day on Friday 22nd May.
With over 200 exhibitors and 30 plus new boats on display, the show provides one of the UK’s widest opportunities to explore inland boating in a single location. Visitors can step aboard narrowboats and wide beams, compare equipment and services side-by-side, attend free advice seminars and technical masterclasses, and experience the waterways first-hand with complimentary trip boats running throughout the weekend.
Alongside the boating showcases, Crick also features a programme of live music sponsored by Vetus, a popular real-ale beer festival, historic boat displays and an extensive range of food and drink stalls.
Peter Johns, Publisher of Waterways World and Show Director, explains:
Remains annual meeting point
“Crick Boat Show remains the annual meeting point for Britain’s inland waterways community. Whether visitors are researching their first boat, planning upgrades or simply enjoying time by the water, the show brings together an unmatched breadth of boats, equipment and expertise in one place.”
“Now in its 26th year, the show hosts the country’s largest display of new inland boats and, for four days, becomes Britain’s biggest floating chandlery. Our Trade & Preview Day gives serious buyers and industry professionals the opportunity to speak directly with boat builders and suppliers in a quieter setting ahead of the weekend crowds.”
Alex Hennessey, National Boating Manager for the Canal & River Trust, adds:
“Crick Boat Show celebrates Britain’s unique network of canals and rivers and the communities that support them. Visitors to the Canal & River Trust Marquee can discover boating, walking, fishing, wildlife spotting and volunteering opportunities, as well as learning more about the work required to maintain 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales.”
