NAVIGATION WAS CLOSED over the weekend after a body was discovered on the Thames towpath at Henley.
With the towpath also closed whilst a murder investigation was carried out, Keith Gudgin reports.
Rowers too are asked not to use that part of the river whilst the investigation is under way.
Man arrested
A man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
The victim had not been formally identified.
The Thames Valley Police tell that the investigation is still in its early stages and are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
