THE REPAIRS TO A LOCK on Marsworth Flight shouldn't be too long in its repair.
With Howard Clarke telling us he saw seven people at the lock yesterday, five men and two charming ladies!
This was on Lock 38 of the flight that is part of the winter works to replace the gates.
So with all that many workers the lock should be finished well in time for the start of the season.
The Marsworth Flight is on the summit pound of the Grand Union Canal.
