NAVIGATION IS CLOSED on the Main Line of the Aire & Calder Navigation.

The Aire & Calder Navigation Main Line is closed at Castleford Junction Lock 9 owing to technical issues with the lock that is preventing operation.
Engineers attended
Engineers have attended the site, and they are expected to return to complete the necessary repairs.
There was no intimation when the engineers are to return.
