I was sad to read that Sherborne Wharf Ltd had gone into liquidation, writes I Dugald Campbell.
As they also own Heritage Narrowboats Ltd based in Scholar Green, Stoke on Trent.
One needs to know if this too will enter liquidation or is it run as a separate company?
This information is important for hirers of Heritage Narrowboats and for the moorers in the marina.
Forced into liquidation
Sherborne Wharf Ltd was forced into liquidation when Canal & River Trust demanded a surprise additional seven years rent that was payment that could not be met, with the moorers at the marina all being forced out and not only left in limbo, but loosing all their money for moorings and services that they have already paid. There is however no information at Companies House showing that Heritage Narrowboats are also in liquidation—Editor.
