THE TAME VALLEY CANAL IS STILL CLOSED due to the discovery of a leak.
It was on the 3rd November last year that the Tame Valley Canal was closed, Keith Gudgin reports.
This was after a collapsed culvert was discovered, but work on this had then found a leak that meant the waterway still could not be reopened.

It was at Perry Bar Top Lock on 25th March, when this was found but now we are told that engineers are to investigate and address the issue.
The leak was discovered after the completion of a major canal bed and waterway wall works since November. With the towpath being closed as well as the navigation.
