NAVIGATION ON THE LEE & STORT has been stopped by a paddle stuck in a lock gate.
This is Tednambury Lock 4 on the river, Keith Gudgin reports.
It was yesterday, Thursday, that the bottom offside paddle rod snapped that then stuck in the gate of the lock stopping it working.
Lock unusable
Engineers attended and managed to get the rod out of the gate, but the trust tell that the lock is unusable.
It adding that there will be no passage possible until the repair is made.
There is no intimation when this will take place and the lock again working and passage allowed.
