WATER IS BACK IN the navigations that were closed due to lack of water.

Leicester Section
These closures were the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal, that was closed through lack of water between Cranes Locks 22 and Newton Top Lock 23.
Leeds & Liverpool
On Leeds & Liverpool Canal the navigation was closed between between Lock 85 and 86 and also Lock 1 of the Leigh Branch.
Huddersfield
However, though the Huddersfield Narrow Canal has not yet had its snapped paddle repaired, engineers are on site and expect this to be completed today, Friday, and the navigation reopened.
