THE OVERHEAD POWER CABLES have closed part of the Kennet & Avon Canal.

Fire brigade
A fire brigade is on site but the canal will remain closed until the power company has attended and the situation has been made safe.
The stoppage starts at Crofton Lock 60 and ends at Crossing Lock 61.
Both the navigation and towpath remain closed until the area is made safe.
