IT WAS FIVE YEARS AGO that the body of a newborn baby boy was found in the Wryley and Essington Canal near Walsall.

The West Midlands Police believe its priority was to find the baby's mum, to make sure she was okay.

The police tells it is appealing to the local community and the wider public to help them get 'justice' for the baby boy who was found in the canal by Rough Wood Country Park on 20th May 2021.
Multiple appeals have been issued since then, with the police telling it has acted on all the information it has received.
West Midlands Police, are asking that anyone who has information to come forward, even though it might be difficult.
