Tinsley Flight navigable again

ONE of the two pumps that failed allowing a pound to slowly drain (Pump failure closes canal) has been repaired and is now in action keeping the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation at Sheffield open.

Internet while cruising

HAVING travelled for six months last year using a mifi unit for internet access. (Which was far less than reliable) and costing £28 per month through Orange, I am sure that through narrowboatworld, somebody has found a cheaper solution to accessing the internet whilst cruising, writes Peter Ponting.

Horse had to be rescued
