Over the holiday I accepted an invitation by a resident at Sawley Marina to take a cruise for a couple of days up the Trent & Mersey Canal, as my own boat being at Bedford, I don't get chance of using the canals, and though it was rather windy, my wife and I still had an enjoyable time, that was increased by an excellent meal at Ragley Boat Stop.
