Money for narrowboat restoration

THE Inland Waterways Association announced yesterday (Friday) that it has awarded a grant of £15,000 to the Chesterfield Canal Trust, to help fund the restoration of its narrowboat Python.

Boaters on child sex charge

WHILST their boat was moored at Rugeley on the Trent & Mersey Canal a couple enticed two schoolchildren onto their narrowboat, offered them alcohol and persuaded them to play strip poker, Stafford Crown Court has heard.
