A NARROWBOAT ON THE CAM that is sinking cannot be removed.
This is as the lock leading to this part of the river is broken, Janet Friend reports.
It is the Cambridge City Council that want the unsightly narrowboat moving away but tells there is no current way to remove it.
Closed for safety reasons
With them telling it can't be removed until the Baits Bite Lock can be opened, that was closed last year together with Jesus Green Lock for safety reasons.
At present the narrowboat has been secured and is not thought to present a hazard.
