ONCE AGAIN THE TRUST is in the process in developing a method of repair.
This time again on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Keith Gudgin reports.
The 'method of repair' is being carried out on Lock 1 of the Rufford Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
Both paddles failed
This is as both paddles have failed, and we are told therefore the lock cannot be safely operated.
The Leeds & Liverpool Canal had six failures in June and two in July of this year, not counting those due to lack of water. Yet during this period all the flights on the navigation were closed.
