THE STOPPAGE ON THE Huddersfield Narrow Canal has been extended from 14E to Lock 20E due to low water levels.
But we are not told where the stoppages are now, Keith Gudgin reports.
Only that the water levels are being closely monitored by the team and "we will update the notice should there be any improvements".
Water levels too low
The notice is for a closure between Lock 14E and Lock 20E on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal as water levels have been deemed too low to cruise.
But told that from Monday 15th June navigation between Lock 1E and Lock 31E will close, with these locks being padlocked.
Works taking place at Slaithwaite Reservoir (pictured) are perhaps responsible.
