DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCILLOR Karen Edwards has compared scenes of antisocial behaviour in Llangollen to the 'Wild West.'

These remarks concern anti-social behaviour over the Late May bank holiday weekend, Janet Friend reports.

Jumping in canal

People were jumping in to the canal and causing rowdiness in the town with discarded litter and glass bottles, leaving residents, businesses and visitors feeling unsafe.

Karen Edwards told:

"I am extremely concerned and deeply frustrated by the serious anti-social behaviour witnessed in Llangollen over the weekend."
