FELLOW boaters and friends are welcome to the funeral of Stuart Williams who died when he slipped on ice falling into the freezing canal.
He fell as he was attempting to board his narrowboat at Devizes on the Kennet & Avon Canal, and died quickly of hypothermia. His dog Ginger, sat waiting.Next Wednesday
The incident occurred on the 20th December, and his funeral is to be held next Wednesday, 19th January at 1.30pm at Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon.
Anyone who knew Stuart is welcome to attend, but his daughter Rylie requests that they should wear casual dress or jeans.
