Gloucester Docks is today, Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday, hosting the UK premiere of a major international show
This is The Weight of Water, a huge staircase which floats on the water providing a platform with dance and circus performing on top of the staircase.
This giant staircase floats on the water but is unstable and perilously sways as the performers climb aboard and start to move.

A first for all
The show comprises of performance, live music and sensation on a scale rarely seen and is a first for all on the day as the show has not been seen in the UK before.
This is only one of the performances and experiences on offer as, performing art charity, Strike A Light takes over the waterfront for a weekend of outdoor dance and performance events that are all free to attend.
