YET ANOTHER BRIDGE has closed a navigation.
This is Stone Chimney Bridge 31 that has had a vehicle strike, Keith Gudgin reports.
Canal & River Trust tell that this is owning to a vehicle strike that has closed both navigation and towpath.
No intimation
But there is no intimation of the kind of vehicle strike.
Only that its engineers have visited the site and assessed the damage and are currently working on a method of repair.
This bridge is situated by the marina entrance at Swillbrook on the waterway.
