THE WORK BEING UNDERTAKEN by volunteers from the Cotswold Canals Trust was filmed on Monday.

The results being shown on BBC Points West, Janet Friend reports.

The filming it is told was concerning the missing mile of the Stroudwater Canal and featured waterway works, carpentry, engineering and maintenance, that is carried out by volunteers.

The feature was shown yesterday, Wednesday, but there will be coverage available later on BBC iPlayer.

The trust is currently working to complete the restoration, which aims to reconnect the canal between Eastington and Saul Junction, but needs more volunteers to further its work.
