UPPER LODE LOCK ON THE SEVERN has developed another problem.
And so is still closed, Keith Gudgin reports.
It was an electrical fault that closed the lock to navigation on Tuesday of this week, that was rectified.
Further problem
But yesterday a further problem closed the lock again to navigation. This time it is too much heat that has closed the lock.
With the trust telling—please be advised that due to the recent heat, Upper Lode Lock has experienced a failure and is currently closed.
