THE RUSHALL CANAL that was closed yesterday is still closed.
As it is yet to be assessed, Keith Gudgin reports.
It is expected that this may happen soon, as told that engineers are scheduled to be on-site today, Friday, to conduct a thorough assessment of the damage and put together a repair plan.
Paddle dislodged
It was a paddle at Lock 3 that had dislodged from its runners and requires remedial work to be refitted.
Once the assessment of the damage is made it is expected the plan will be put into force.
