ANOTHER lock failure has closed a waterway, this time the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigations.
Canal & River Trust state a gate has failed on Doncaster Lock yesterday, that is now inoperable until further notice, Keith Gudgin tells us.
Doncaster Town Lock
No doubt the Trust is referring to Doncaster Town Lock on the Don. There are no details at present, but an update has been promised for later in the week.
