IT HAS been revealed that the couple and their dog found dead on a boat on the Norfolk Broads were killed by carbon monoxide fumes, as was thought.

The bodies of the two, lan Frost, 64, and Tina Wilkins, 51 and their dog were found on the 9th of June moored on the Bure, when others had become suspicious that there was no movement on the boat for quite a while, (Two dead in boat) Alan Tilbury Tells us.

Unexplained

The deaths are being treated by the police as 'unexplained' with no suspicious circumstances, a coroners' court was told, but it is believed that the two were overcome by carbon monoxide fumes as they slept.

It was told that it was most likely the fumes came from either a gas heater or cooking equipment, with the government's Marine Accident Investigation Branch undertaking an investigation into the deaths.
