Delay in Birmingham & Fazeley Canal re-opening

THE severe weather over last week has caused a delay in the reopening of the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal.

It will not now be re-opened until Tuesday 20th March, but will be in time for Easter, Keith Gudgin tells us. The closure of the waterway in early January was caused by leakage at Minworth, with the flight being closed.
