Cromford part of 'Discovery Days'

THE Cromford Canal is part of the Derwent Valley Mills Discovery Days programme, using its horse-drawn trip boat to help bring visitors to the area and at the same time giving a chance for people to enjoy a trip on a horse-drawn narrowboat.

Boat licences pegged to inflation

THE Canal & River Trust has announced today (Monday) that private boat licence fees for next year will rise in April 2015 by 1.6% in line with inflation, and will be increased by no more than inflation in 2016.

Victor gets results!
