A LIFEBOAT, that could mean life or death to anyone in trouble in the Trent, has been stolen, with the volunteer Colwick Park Lifeguards in Nottingham now without its means of rescue.

Boaters muck in

BOATERS have been giving their services to Canal & River Trust to alleviate the flooded Oxford (pictured) and Grand Union canals, by clearing culverts and weirs of debris that has been carried in by the excess water.

Trial of London moorings

THE Canal & River Trust is proposing to trial a range of temporary changes to the moorings at Paddington Basin and the Little Venice Pool in London to meet a wider range of mooring needs over the coming summer. The initiative follows feedback from boaters and boating groups.
